My daughter went to the open call in April and participated in her first state pageant in June. While the fees do add up quite quickly when you start adding extras, I do not agree with the majority who is stating that the top spenders are the chosen winners. The girst...

My child competed in the pre-teen category for a first and last time. This is a money-making business I do not think they do anything to gain confidence because the smart, pretty and confident kid does not win. Wins the one who has been for years in this competition...

Well, this is my thought about NAM: Although, my 13 year old daughter had a fun chance to participate in the pageant, I felt that NAM has to have an explicit list of extra expenses ( Like the hot pink T-shirt and socks they made you pay at orientation for 30 more...

My daughter has a disability that isn't easily seen. She had a stroke, which effects gross motor skills, fine motor skills, speech, vision, etc.. so I think that they'll keep passing her by no matter how well she does because, one she can't read two she can't speak...

This pageant is very nice BUT the same girls always win. If you want a fair level competition this pageant isn't for you. If you have a pageant coach this pageant is for you.

I believe the competition to be fair. I believe some girls have just perfected their craft and they work very hard. I don't believe I have ever seen someone undeserving of a...

National American Miss - Could have been better

My two girls competed in different age divisions. One of them won a couple of optionals and was offered an opportunity to go to Nationals if I pay the entry fee while the other who didn't win was not. People over the phone sound unprofessional. I felt disconnected from the staff. The competition ran long and late for my girls. It felt inefficient use of time.

National American Miss - Girls in age categories are not same age
I recently just competed in the 2017 JR.Teen pageant at National American Miss. The age limit was 15 but 16 year old girls won. It is very frustrating to see how much lying the girls do. For example a girl next to me was 16 but wrote 15 on her card. Very upset and sad...

NAM is a SCAM

Not surprised, contestants lie about where they live and NAM let them compete in the wrong state. NAM has become a big money SCAM!

My daughter won first runner up two years in a row. Last year we were fine with it because it was our first, but this year not so much. The girl who won did a terrible introduction but still won. It would've been fine if the 2nd runner up won because she did just as...
