She clearly stated there were no hidden fees after the $275 & a additional $275liar

They charge extra fpr photoshoots, flowers, extra photos, group photos n so many other hidden deceptions. For tge money spent they offer no continental snacks,no treats or drinks to cater towards long waits for over 5-6 hours of rehearsing n leaving the parents tired ,ond over worked while they collect so much money.

They could atleast offer 1day of tefreshments. They are a bunch of boogie prude stepford robotic fakes who should be honest about whst This company is about ...n its taking ur money...n picking those who pay the most.

Reason of review: Not as described/ advertised.

Monetary Loss: $600.

Preferred solution: Full refund.

National American Miss Pros: Confidence earned.

National American Miss Cons: Totally a scam.

For someone who has been working with NAM for years, I couldnโ€™t disagree more. My daughter has been competing for 5 years and while it is pricey, there has never been any fees hidden.

As a matter of fact, they have your account online that shows everything that is mandatory vs optional and what you have paid on one page, and they sends out multiple correspondence with info. I have seen queens win that did not do a bunch of extra competitions and spend extra money at all. My daughter is one. I could see where you might form this belief bc often times queens have competed and won a bunch of other things.

This is because a lot of times the same qualities that won them the queen title (confidence, positive attitude, discipline to practice, and ability to read and follow directions, guidelines, etc) is the same qualities that win them other competitions. Having good supportive parents that are able to do the same also goes a long way! Sorry your perception is this way but quite honestly, I think you have some misunderstandings. If the expenses were a complaint, Iโ€™d get it but I wonโ€™t complain about that either as I do not know the costs to run their operations but my hopes and beliefs are that the fees are necessary for the cause.

Oh and they have multiple black women on staff, love how diverse and fair this pageant is and how the staff are role modeling for these young ladies.

They are all very honest and kind from my experience for 5 years. This pageant positively changes so many girlsโ€™ lives!

Glad the scammers are about to be scammed themselves! Just thinking how these amateur photo scammers draw these children into believing they are the next "National American Miss" is absolutely appalling! Why don't they just stand up and say who gets scammed, how many times they have taken money from communities and families who believe it is a real company and how they let anyone participate who will beg, borrow or steal to let their daughters attend an "OPEN CALL" session is not only sad but just plain dumb!
